We've expanded the Loop Engine's feature set with new concepts to create an entirely new way of working that greatly expands the capabilities of MIDI generation. Routing capabilities for multi-track playback mean that integrating this plugin into your DAW project is easier than ever. Use your favorite virtual synths and instruments while the Loop Engine seeds up to 8 different MIDI parts and sends them to the accompanying secondary plugin, the Loop Engine Listener. Using these two tools, you can create complex multi-track loops that span multiple tracks in your DAW... or simply use the presets as a starting point to create legendary loops.

What's New in the LOOP Engine
Multi-Track Manipulation:
Despite its superficial similarity, the Loop Engine is much more fully featured than all previous CHORDS plugins. It offers advanced multi-track routing and playback, as well as many new features: piano roll view, additional chords, voicing rules, chord range, ability to add tension notes and select open, mixed or closed chord positions.
Loop Engine Listener:
Routing MIDI from the main plugin to additional tracks is Loop Engine's special sauce. This is achieved using an additional secondary plugin - Loop Engine Listener. The Loop Engine outputs up to 8 independent MIDI voices, which you can route to the Loop Engine Listener loaded onto instrument tracks in your DAW. Choose which voices will be used on which tracks, and easily swap them around with just a couple of clicks.
Loop View:
In Loop View, you can adjust global controls: chord inversions, duration, speed, major/minor, and entire playback key. It's incredibly easy to make changes to an entire riff on the fly. For a more detailed look, click on a chord segment to gain more detailed control over the chord shape, individual inversions, and velocity.
Chord Mode:
A wide range of playback options for each chord can be adjusted using simple controls. Program each chord segment with inversions ranging from -4 to +4. Transform the chord shape using the Range parameter, spreading the notes more widely. Move the lowest notes up an octave or the highest notes down an octave to turn the chords inside out.
Tension and Expansion:
Once chords are loaded and a segment is selected, use the chord shape range in the center of the interface to choose from 21 chord types: Tonic, Subdominant or Dominant, from simple triads to more complex chord shapes. Apply chord type and voltage using 9 transformation buttons, new to the Loop Engine's advanced mode.
Generate Station:
Click Generate to randomly generate one or more chords on which to base notes and loops. Loop Engine offers 30 different chord types and voltages to create harmonic progressions for natural progressions.
Simple Segments:
Create up to 8 chord segments, each with up to 8 sections. Play one to four notes per chord and choose how you want to play them. Playback is linked to your DAW's BPM, and you can add/reduce segments and change parameters individually.
Section Playback:
Divide chords into sections, drawing 4 notes of the chord as you play to create melodies, arpeggios, shorter chords and loops. With the Copy/Paste and Repeat options, it's easy to sketch out loop ideas for just one chord, and then apply that playback to others, experimenting as you go. Don't forget the scoring options, which allow you to send up to 8 loops to 8 different DAW tracks.
Blending Mode:
The POLY button creates patterns that loop indefinitely. These patterns can be longer or shorter than chord segments and loop iterations, and create intertwining arps that go beyond conventional chord structures. Each time a part of a poly pattern falls into a new chord segment, the notes of that part adapt to the new harmonic environment. Have a blast and create self-generating melodies using poly mode, polyphony and all their recombinations.
Export MIDI:
To further customize your chords and riffs, drag chords and arps from the plugin directly into your DAW. This way, your original chords can be edited in MIDI, transposed and customized to suit the sound of your music.
Powerful Presets:
Loop Engine offers many categorized presets for chord progressions. Plus, sequence presets for chords, riffs and arpeggios. These presets make it easy to create musical motifs that can develop into full-fledged tracks.

✔️ What's new in version 1.1?
1. A very comprehensive preset manager for searching, tagging, organizing and saving any type of preset (click on the input field in the center of the general Loop control panel to open).
Presets are backwards compatible with V1.0.
We've also included two two-voice factory presets to make it easier to get started with the program and the multi-voice loop concept.
2. Tooltips: turned on/off by switching (question mark).
3. Help button (light bulb): Link to the LE web page with content such as setup videos, tutorial videos, text information, etc.
4. Ability to automate the following controls:
OCTAVE (transpose the entire cycle by an octave).
KEY (key change for the entire cycle).
VOICE mute/unmute (for all 8 voices).
5. Chord segments can be divided into 16 sections to accommodate single notes (as requested by a user on your site in the "COMMENTS" section).
6. Minor changes in the graphical interface, for example, for simplicity, the LENGTH chord control was removed and some controls were shuffled.
